This project consists of scanning operations located at twenty-three branch offices across the country. These branches scan and route all new cases into a centralized regional service center for image processing and electronic contract merging & printing. The solution includes complete Business Process Management automation for AIA’s entire Policy Services, Claims, and New Business operations, image-enabling and workflow-enabling ALL of their primary line-of-business systems, including their eBusiness Applications; Mainframe Applications; Client-Server and Java-based applications; their Contract Printing Sub-system; and much more. This system is so amazingly automated and their base applications so tightly integrated with the Imaging and Workflow platform (in almost every way imaginable) that it is fair to say that this is probably RSTN’s most sophisticated Imaging and Workflow development effort to date.
RSTN’s consultants designed the entire network architecture, systems architecture, and all application development components, while the development work, deployment and training were joint efforts shared between RSTN and AIA Malaysia. The project has been an enormous success and a model for the rest of the region.
RSTN has implemented very similar BPM solutions for AIA Singapore, AIA Thailand and AIA Indonesia.
RSTN was the prime contractor for this project, providing the consulting, project management, change management, applications and architecture design, applications development, technical support, implementation services, and post-implementation maintenance services.
