Who we are?
RSTN Consulting was founded in 1997 by Steven Lim and Robert Woodward Jr with a mission to help insurers and financial institutions modernize their systems and processes with practical, reliable technology. Over the years, RSTN has delivered hundreds of projects across Asia and beyond, including enterprise content management, business process management, workflow automation, underwriting, policy administration, and claims for regional and global insurers and banks.
In the 2000s, Robert Woodward Jr left RSTN and later founded Inspire Innovations LLC in the United States. Under Steven Lim’s leadership, RSTN continued to grow in Asia, deepening its expertise in digital transformation for the insurance and financial services sectors.
Today, RSTN remains an independent firm recognized for its long-term client relationships, in-depth domain expertise, and practical, results-driven solutions. The company has completed over 100 large-scale projects in more than 30 countries across various industries, including insurance, banking, government, property management, oil and gas, and manufacturing. Notably, 41 of these projects were with large multinational insurance companies.
RSTN has a unique specialization in supporting multinational enterprises with global deployments of BPM, ECM, Document Imaging, and Commission Management solutions. A key example is the implementation of an ECM program for the world’s largest commercial property and casualty insurer across 24 countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. RSTN provided in-country project teams, regional program managers, and ECM specialists to ensure consistent delivery and quality across all locations.
With nearly three decades of experience, RSTN continues to help organizations modernize operations, scale digital capabilities, and achieve sustainable outcomes through practical and proven technology solutions.

Another large global insurer, MetLife, has purchased from RSTN a complete insurance ECM & BPM solution designed and developed by RSTN Consulting. They are now working with RSTN to further develop, support and deploy the solution globally. To date, RSTN has deployed sophisticated ECM & BPM solutions in 8 countries for MetLife.
