Client challenges:

To handle and reconciling all the monthly submissions of financial records by the many out-sourced privately owned car park operators, the agency has to spend several FTEs and many days to weeks to ensure accurate payments have been received and accurate rebates to vendors paid out.

Solution from RSTN:

RSTN has been engaged to provide state of the art RPA (Robotics Process Automation) systems, using both Kryon and UiPath RPA to automate the mundane and laborious tasks of matching, checking, validating, consolidating and reconciling financial records.

With the RPA tools, the agency is now able to effectively reduced manpower resources needed for doing all the above repetitive, tedious and laborious tasks. At the same time, what takes them one week of time by at least 2 human resources can now be done smoothly and rapidly by these software robots (RPA) within a matter of hours.

Results:

RPA has resulted in huge manpower savings and most importantly, avoided costly and painful human errors (software robots will not suffer from fatigue as humans do). The ability to do more with less means their actual manpower resources can be deployed for doing higher value tasks.

The RPA robots are even able to detect any financial discrepancies earlier and alert relevant personnel in a timely manner.
